We are really looking forward to sharing more exciting developments with you in the coming months, as we prepare for our planned opening in Spring 2026!
Our Planning and Architecture Team continues to work closely with the local authorities on our current planning application, and to prepare the way for some key refurbishment works which we hope to begin in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, our retreat programme is being finalised for our first year together, and we plan to open our new booking system in early January 2026. By then, our fresh new Centre website, which is being developed in consultation with a wide range of sangha members over the coming weeks, will also be live and we can’t wait to share it with you!
This work is underpinned by careful financial planning to ensure the launch of the Centre in the most sustainable way possible. Central to this will be our next fundraising campaign, which will launch at the end of this month and is an essential next step in supporting Being Peace to blossom and grow strong and solid roots.
You can find more detail in the fundraising slides from the Being Peace Sangha evening here, and stay tuned for our upcoming campaign!
We are excited to share how your support is helping the vision for Being Peace to grow into a living reality in the present, and further, to play its part in contributing to the transformation of individuals and society in the future.

Being Peace Sangha October
It was such a joy to share the Being Peace Sangha Evening with many of you recently. We deeply enjoyed being together, and the project team was glad to share updates about trustee & team recruitments and the upcoming fundraising plans to support the sustainable launch of our centre.
We also shared about what it might be like to live near the centre and to live at the centre as a Resident Community Volunteer. If you missed the evening, or would like to watch it again, you can find the recording here.
You are warmly invited to join our next Being Peace Sangha on 30th November at 7pm. Please register here. (you don’t need to register if you registered before – you will receive email with zoom link on the day)
