A Call for Conscious Contributions 

As we take on the stewardship of the Abenhall site, we invite you to join us in bringing the Being Peace Centre to life – mindfully, sustainably and in harmony with Mother Earth. 

Before we can open doors for the first retreats in early 2026, our team is lovingly preparing the site to offer guests a welcoming, comfortable environment that supports both personal practice and community connection.

Our aspiration is to upcycle, repurpose, and lovingly reuse wherever possible, choosing eco-conscious and pre-loved items over buying new, restoration over consumption, and ways of living that nurture harmony between people and nature. 

How You Can Help

While the centre already has many of the furnishings it needs, we are currently seeking some essential pieces that would help complete the picture: second-hand treasures, lovingly upcycled goods, or connections to those who may have access through businesses such as furniture makers, closing or renovating restaurants, offices, or retreat venues.

If you or someone you know has access to any of the items listed below – or may be clearing space with care and intention – we would be grateful to hear from you through our Google Form.

We kindly ask that items be in good, usable condition and shared in quantities the centre can meaningfully use. 

As a small team, we may not be able to accept everything that’s generously offered. Please trust that we’ll receive all gestures with care and gratitude.
