After an intense six months of fundraising, building relationships, and setting up the best conditions for the Being Peace Practice Centre project, we’re thrilled that we’re entering an exciting new phase—stay tuned for updates!

Together in Joy – Recordings available now!

To celebrate the end of our recent campaign, we enjoyed some wonderful and joyful moments and sharings offered by the monastic and lay sangha during the Together in Joy event. With over 250 attendees, it was a lively evening filled with joy, beauty, gratitude and community. It also set a new record for daily fundraising, and took our available funds beyond the £2.7 million mark.

If you couldn’t join us or would like to watch it again, all recordings from the event will be gradually shared on this playlist in the coming weeks.

Here are a few event highlights:

Fourfold Towers: A lighthearted take on the Plum Village experience, performed by British monastics (Warning: British Humor!)

An inspiring conversation with Climate Leader Christiana Figueres, hosted by Being Peace Project Director Nick Kenrick, with introduction by Sr True Dedication

The River of Support

Across this year we have felt a powerful wave of support building across the community, and we warmly invite you to touch and be nourished by this yourselves by visiting our new River of Support page.  You will see how your support is truly growing and flowing like a river – and we hope this new page offers you much joy and inspiration from the extraordinary collective energy it represents.

Thank you for being so engaged with this beautiful project, and we look forward to sharing more news and updates with you all very soon!

With a deep bow of gratitude,

The Being Peace Practice Centre Team
