This is a wonderful moment.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, love and collective energy over the past weeks, we have reached the £1 million fundraising target!

This is an extraordinary achievement, and it shows that when we are going as a river, the Sangha energy is truly strong. We are now closer than ever to calling Abenhall a new home for Plum Village Practice in the UK.

This dream began 28 years ago with Thay’s vision. Since then, countless hearts and hands have helped bring that vision to this moment. We bow deeply in gratitude to each of you who has walked on this path—through your practice, your time and energy, your donations, and your deep love for the Sangha.

As we celebrate this milestone, the journey continues.

What’s Next?

Fundraising Continues Until 16th April, as planned

Every pound raised beyond the £1 million goal will support the set-up costs of the Being Peace Centre— reducing the need to borrow, lowering interest payments, and helping make the centre more financially sustainable and retreats more accessible.

Due Diligence in Progress
Our trustees are currently completing the final stages of due diligence. We will share more news with you in the coming weeks as we take these next important steps toward making the centre a reality.

Thank you, friend, for being part of this moment.

Your support is helping to create a sanctuary for peace and transformation, and a physical home for our community in the UK.

With deep gratitude, celebration, and togetherness,
The Being Peace Fundraising Team

Help bring this vision to life

Abenhall can be ready to welcome retreatants already this autumn—but it will not happen without the support from our community.

To secure this site and make these retreats a reality, we need to raise £1 million this spring. Your support will help us create a lasting home for Plum Village in the UK.

Together, we go as a river.
Thank you for walking this path with us.
