We have wonderful news to share with you today.
As our Trustees approached the moment of deciding whether we can go ahead with the purchase of Abenhall, two important factors have offered us more time and possibility to make the home for Plum Village in the UK a reality.
Decision date extended to 16th April
Due to a delay in receiving a response from the Forest of Dean District Council on our planning pre-application—and thanks to the kindness of our vendors—we now have an additional month, until 16th April, to continue our fundraising with trust and spaciousness
Donations are now doubled
Even more wonderfully, a dear long-standing member of our community has generously offered to match every contribution made between 16th February and 16th April 2025, up to £500,000. This incredible gift means that every donation you offer—or have offered since February 16th 2025 —will be doubled, nourishing our collective aspiration and bringing us ever closer to our £1m goal.
To reach this milestone, we still need to raise just over £190k. We trust that going as a river, with the incredible generosity of our beautiful sangha, this is absolutely within reach.
